"In The End" - Linkin Park (A Heroes ensemble FanVid)

Grave Lying
Hold onto your hats people, this was made quick with the intention of being quick and ironically took me about a month to do (with all the mass problems I had inbetween). Get your pause button at the ready because you just might blink and miss something.

I began making Heroes vids with an opener to the show and what it was about in the early stages. Because I made an opener, I felt it only fair to make a season closer showing the journey that each hero has had to face and overcome. This video tries to cover every bit of ground the whole season through and features just about every character you can think of.

*Puts on a Mohinder style voice* Is this quest all for nothing? Or is there true meaning at the end of one's journey, having experienced life outside your own realm and faced obstacles you never thought you could overcome? Did you anticipate yourself to be different from anybody else when you started, or did fate firmly step in your way and lead you where you were meant to be? Does life have a plan for us all? Does life want you to be the Hero?

EDIT: I HAVE JUST BEEN MADE AWARE THAT THE DOWNLOAD VERSION IS NOT THE FULL THING. For some reason the file has become corrupted or something on my computer and has chopped itself short. I will have to re-render the file and will reupload it as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for your patience. ALL links now corrected with full version.

Oh man, that was amazing. Wow. The clips not only went with the lyrics really well but were put together in a way that showed all kinds of subtle parallels between the characters' stories. Holy crap. And the end was very chilling. Great work, just brilliant!

I had to add that knowing what we know about the characters and their journeys makes the lyrical connections so SIGNIFICANT. Not just obvious stuff like Jessica and DL fighting when the song mentions fighting (and all the falling clips, hehe!), but things that if you know what was going on in the clip the lyrics really resonate (As an aside, I can't really believe I'm talking like this about a Linkin Park song, but I do really like this song, haha). Some examples... "the way you were mocking me" with Gabriel and Chandra; "things aren't the way they were before" with Simone and Isaac; and my FAVORITE "not that you knew me back then" with Peter and Claire at homecoming, oh man, the implications of what happens when they meet again and remembering that connection is just fantastic, AAH! Also loved the black and white section, eee!

And lol @ "and one thing" with Peter at brunch XD!

Yeah I'm totally creepily fangirling your vid... lol sorry!

LMAO fangirl my vid all you want! It's really good to know people love what I've spent endless hours on, it makes it all worth it. :D

*rewinds to beginning of the comment* Yeah I was counting on people getting the underlying meaning of each scene - yes there were a lot that were lyrically connected but there is a lot of emotion and thought that hides behind just the picture, and if you've been a fan of the show you can understand the frustration or confusion or sadness that goes along with it and instantly you're connected back to the song. haha yes the "not that you knew me back then" was perfect for Peter & Claire because they didn't know each other then yet became such a huge part of each other's lives, and all the more connected when they found out they were biologically linked as well.

So, again, I'll thank you for watching (and stalking whenever u like haha) my vid. Tis awesome to hear in depth accounts of what people saw in it also *nods*

Yeah you definitely succeeded there! Nice job :D And I'm glad you're not creeped out lol! I don't normally have the patience to watch serious fanvids (I like the funny ones more) but I really enjoyed this one :D

haha thanx! :D I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I've been getting a lot of people telling we they were suddenly seeing connections between the characters they had never seen before though that was never my intention LOL It's good to hear I've inspired some thoughtage over the characters though. Thanks so much for watching & commenting, I really appreciate it.
