"In The End" - Linkin Park (A Heroes ensemble FanVid)

Grave Lying
Hold onto your hats people, this was made quick with the intention of being quick and ironically took me about a month to do (with all the mass problems I had inbetween). Get your pause button at the ready because you just might blink and miss something.

I began making Heroes vids with an opener to the show and what it was about in the early stages. Because I made an opener, I felt it only fair to make a season closer showing the journey that each hero has had to face and overcome. This video tries to cover every bit of ground the whole season through and features just about every character you can think of.

*Puts on a Mohinder style voice* Is this quest all for nothing? Or is there true meaning at the end of one's journey, having experienced life outside your own realm and faced obstacles you never thought you could overcome? Did you anticipate yourself to be different from anybody else when you started, or did fate firmly step in your way and lead you where you were meant to be? Does life have a plan for us all? Does life want you to be the Hero?

EDIT: I HAVE JUST BEEN MADE AWARE THAT THE DOWNLOAD VERSION IS NOT THE FULL THING. For some reason the file has become corrupted or something on my computer and has chopped itself short. I will have to re-render the file and will reupload it as soon as I get a chance. Thanks for your patience. ALL links now corrected with full version.

haha *SQUEES* I made you at a loss for words and reduced to unrecognizable characters! (A)

I'm glad you liked the quote. I went searching for some kind of Hero-related quote to open it and when I stumbled across that, especially the fact that he's talking about ordinary people being Heroes, well that's just the whole tagline for the show so I had to use it!

Ah the Nathan-Meredith-Claire cut was super hard to work on because I had to try and work out how to do it in that short amount of time. I took inspiration off the Molly-Matt snippet I used earlier in the vid and I tinted Meredith & Claire with a nice kind of blue that recreated the colouring in Molly's visions, and then placed them over the Nathan phone call which worked really well. Only problem was the cuts were so fast I ended up having to lengthen Meredith by a frame just so you could see her! LOL There is a clip of Ando hidden in the fast cuts leading up to the first chorus I think which you really can't see unless you play with the pause button consistently, it's just too quick!

Yes the "Watch you go" was the last episode we saw Zach, but not the last scene. I had the promo pic in my head when I picked out that scene so it kind of didn't come off like I wanted it to, but so long as everyone recognises and remembers Zach they'd get the meaning of him leaving (which was more leaving the show than his character abandoning Claire).

HRG is the epitomy of "It doesn't even matter how hard you try" because we all know his story now and how he tried to hide Claire and protect his family and he did rather unsavoury things to achieve this, but in the end it all came out.

*cheers* I know! The Save The Cheerleader Save The World was awesome wasn't it? LOL I didn't even think of that straight away. That train scene was always going to be there, but I didn't think of the layover until I started cutting Claire footage for after it and I thought "Wait, that's the message of the show, it's the only thing that needed to be said, it is the one thing you should know" so it all became a Claire montage from fear to death which explained exactly what Peter had to save her from. So that's all cool :D

Awww haha I made another Nathan!speech montage! *glee* Nah I Really wanted to do a tribute to all the Heroes we had lost along the way, and it came out rather nicely, and I thought we just had to end it with Peter since he was the explosion. And originally I only was going to use the original bomb but I needed to stretch the time out and I didn't realise how beautifully it blended with the last explosion we saw until I put it together. Tis awesome :D

haha *HUGGLES* I <3 U TOO!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for taking the time to watch and fangirl :D
